Central TAFE can help you use your existing skills, knowledge and experience to get a formal qualification through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
And thanks to a new State Government initiative RPL is now an even more attractive option for gaining a training qualification to assist you in getting your next job.
Recipients of certain Centrelink job search allowances and holders of job seeker ID cards will pay no fees when enrolling in RPL units. Holders of other concessions cards will pay only 25% of standard fees for RPL units.
Even those who are currently employed can benefit from this initiative with a 50% reduction in standard fees for RPL units.
Standard RPL assessment processes apply and enrolments are subject to availability.
To be eligible you will need to present proof of entitlements at enrolment.
