Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to store, organise, search and manage bookmarks of web pages on the Internet with the help of tags (metadata.)
In this workshop participants will learn about the concept of social bookmarking and how it can be used in teaching to build a rich and varied resource list for any study area, be adapted and maintained over time and be shared with colleagues and students. Participants will also have the opportunity to create their own social bookmarking site.
This session will be held in a virtual room. Participants need a headset with microphone to participate.
