JobsCentral provides a range of career services and programs to meet the diverse needs of students and recent graduates by supporting their journey towards career development and employability.
JobsCentral is located at the Perth campus in room N222 (Aberdeen Street Entrance) and is open Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm. There is no need to book to use these facilities.

Workshops on employability skills are run as per the schedule set for each term. These skills workshops are:
- Resume preparation
- Interview techniques
- Addressing selection criteria
- Writing application letters and
- Looking for work experience.
A customised workshop on Careering in the 21st Century can also be conducted in your classroom. Speak to your lecturer about organising such a workshop for your class.
Our career counsellors also provided one-to-one consultations on career related issues. In order to book a consultation, please call us on 9427 1893.
All students and graduates (up to 12 months) also have access to the jobs database. Employers advertising vacancies with Central TAFE are specifically looking for Central TAFE graduates, so you are one step ahead of the rest already! Look for a job specific to your area of study, one that compliments what you are studying or a survival job to help you earn some income while you study.
Resources such as telephones, a printer, a fax machine and computers with Internet access are available free of charge to assist students and graduates (up to 12 months) with preparation for transition to the workforce.
To access this service students are required to register with JobNet which is available via the student portal.
