Dental - Health & Community Services

As a graduate of the Dental Assisting course, you will be able to work as a Dental Assistant, Dental Company Representative or Dental Receptionist in government or private dental clinics. Dental Assistants work closely with dentists in the care and treatment of teeth and gums. To succeed in this course you will need to be well organised, have an interest in the health industry and have good manual dexterity and people skills. Central TAFE’s Dental courses are delivered in the modern facilities of the Oral Health Centre of WA (OHCWA) in Nedlands. Students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a modern simulated dental surgery setting under the supervision of lecturing staff. You will also gain experience working with patients in Dental Health Services Clinics, OHCWA General Clinics and General Private Practice.

4 Dental courses are offered at Central Institute of Technology.
