Mechanical and Civil Engineering - Engineering & Building
Studying Engineering at Central TAFE offers many opportunities including the choice of engineering disciplines including; Mechanical Engineering and CAD; and Civil and Structural Engineering. Mechanical Engineering could find you working as an engineering technician or associate. Mechanical engineering technicians and associates provide the step between design and manufacture. They design, test, build and maintain machinery using specialised design software, drawing equipment and hand tools. Civil and Structural Engineering encompasses a range of disciplines including road and drainage systems, dams, harbours, bridges, buildings and other structures. Civil Engineers plan, design, develop and manage construction and repair projects. You could become a drafter’s assistant, draft-person, associate or even, one day, a civil engineer.
22 Mechanical and Civil Engineering courses are offered at Central Institute of Technology.
