Information Services - Creative & Digital

Are you fascinated by the vast amount of information out there, ranging from books to the Internet? Would you enjoy providing this information to the people who need it?
A career in libraries offers you the chance to work in public, university, school and specialised libraries. You could be part of a large team lending books, magazines and DVDs to the general public, or work on your own in a small company library providing electronic information to specialists.
You can select work that puts you in direct contact with library users, or stay behind the scenes in technical services.
Studying Library and Information Services at Central TAFE you will develop a range of skills including how to search for, organise and provide information.
