Fashion and Textile Designers need a good sense of style and colour. They use their knowledge of fabrics to create clothing people want to wear. Central TAFE’s Fashion and Textiles courses are built around the recognition of current and future trends in fashion, with an emphasis on quality design and higher level skills. During your studies, you’ll gain extensive knowledge in researching ideas, marketing, figure and design drawing, design pattern making, designing and printing textiles, garment design and construction.
