About This Course

This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to assist the teaching staff in schools and provide care and supervision for children from kindergarten to Year 12. You will learn skills to manage challenging behaviours and assist in classroom management. You can choose to learn advanced skills to enable working with others. As part of this qualification you will undertake a supervised work placement where you will be able to apply the skills and knowledge you have learned.

Students will be given a choice of one of two streams when they come to enrol in the Certificate IV course; CT70 Certificate IV in Education Support (Special Needs) or CT71 Certificate IV Education Support (Learning Support).

DOMESTIC STUDENTS:
Domestic students are required to pay Course and Resource fees
Course Fees - maximum course fees for 2009 are $570.00 (or $285.00 concession) per semester.   
Resource Fees - cover the cost of any materials & resources provided by the college and will vary depending on the content of the course.

Payment options may be available for those experiencing financial hardship, please ask when you enrol.
Please note: Access & Bridging Programs have a course fee of $25.00 as well as any resource fees.
