About This Course

This qualification will provide you with the creative and technical skills and knowledge to provide the full range of services performed by an interior designer. You will complete design projects that will require you to consider aesthetics, functionality, user and client needs, space planning, construction and the application of materials and finishes. You will generate interior design proposals for large scale commercial or institutional interiors, for hospitality environments and for retail interiors. You will extend your capacity to produce digital presentations and will also research current international design trends, technical developments and sustainable design issues.

This course will be delivered commencing Semester One, 2011.


Course Duration

One year (2 semesters) full time.  Approximately 20 hours per week.

DOMESTIC STUDENTS:
Domestic students are required to pay Course and Resource fees
Course Fees - maximum course fees for 2009 are $570.00 (or $285.00 concession) per semester.   
Resource Fees - cover the cost of any materials & resources provided by the college and will vary depending on the content of the course.

Payment options may be available for those experiencing financial hardship, please ask when you enrol.
Please note: Access & Bridging Programs have a course fee of $25.00 as well as any resource fees.
