S621 - Advanced Diploma of Tourism

C501 - Advanced Diploma of Tourism Management (THT60102)

About This Course

This qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge to be competent in wide-ranging, highly specialised technical tourism skills covering operations, sales, marketing, product development, business planning, and human resource and financial management. You would work in an office environment where the planning of tourism products and services takes place, in the field where tourism products are delivered or a combination of both. The field includes any destination, local or regional area, tourist precinct, site, attraction or onboard form of transportation. The qualification is not suitable for an Australian apprenticeship pathway



Course Duration

Two years (4 semesters) full time or part time equivalent.  Approximately 25 hours per week.

DOMESTIC STUDENTS:
Domestic students are required to pay Course and Resource fees
Course Fees - maximum course fees for 2009 are $570.00 (or $285.00 concession) per semester.   
Resource Fees - cover the cost of any materials & resources provided by the college and will vary depending on the content of the course.

Payment options may be available for those experiencing financial hardship, please ask when you enrol.
Please note: Access & Bridging Programs have a course fee of $25.00 as well as any resource fees.

Students may also need to purchase textbooks, equipment or materials.
