About This Course

This qualification will provide you with practical skills and knowledge at a higher level than the Diploma of Engineering (Oil and Gas) to work in semi professional technical positions in many areas of the oil and Gas industry. The course is broadbased and is not confined to certain areas of the industry.

One year (2 semesters) full time.  Approximately 20 hours per week.

Graduates will work both in office and field jobs in the areas of exploration, drilling, production, planning and management. The main employers are expected to be oil and gas explorers, producers and companies providing services to the Oil & Gas industry.

Fees & Charges

DOMESTIC STUDENTS:
Domestic students are required to pay Course and Resource fees
Course Fees - maximum course fees for 2009 are $570.00 (or $285.00 concession) per semester.   
Resource Fees - cover the cost of any materials & resources provided by the college and will vary depending on the content of the course.

Payment options may be available for those experiencing financial hardship, please ask when you enrol.
Please note: Access & Bridging Programs have a course fee of $25.00 as well as any resource fees.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:
International Student course fees are available here.

Students may also need to purchase textbooks, equipment or materials.
Different fees apply to Fee For Service training.
