Central Institute of Technology regularly upgrades and improves its facilities to provide a better environment for our staff and students to study and work.
Central has recently begun a series of upgrades to facilities at Perth Campus and Leederville Campus, which are funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations Better TAFE Facilities Fund.
The funding from Better TAFE Facilities will be used to upgrade the following facilities:

Replace 2 airconditioning chillers

Replace airconditioning cooling towers

Replace 4 airconditioning package units

Replace current building management system with an open protocol system

Refurbishment of air handling unit

Replace water proof membrane level 5

Replacement of air handling unit

Install cassette airconditioning in 5 computer classrooms

Replace boiler
-
Diagnose and rectify heating water system issues

New back up system to server room
-
New air conditioning to server room
-
Review existing switchboards capacity and upgrade as necessary
