Perth Train Station closed this Friday

This Friday 17 August the Perth Train Station will be closed from 10:30am until last service on Sunday 19 August.

During this weekend, the Fremantle Line will run to West Leederville Station, and the Midland and Armadale Lines will run to Claisebrook Station.  A CAT-style bus service will loop from Claisebrook Station to West Leederville Station via Perth Station.

Though a bus replacement service will be available, TransPerth encourage city and Northbridge workers to find alternative ways to get home from the CBD on Friday, 17 August.  

From 8pm on Sunday, 19 August, there will be additional disruptions affecting the Fremantle, Midland, Armadale, Joondalup and Mandurah lines.

The disruption allows important platform changes to take place in Perth Station, which frees up space to build the new Fremantle Line tunnel, create a new platform and continue works on the pedestrian underpass.
