The VET for Schools program is a State and Federal Government initiative designed to facilitate pathways for Year 11 and 12 students between school, training and employment.
All the Central Institute of Technology VET for School programs enable you to complete your school subjects and/or WACE while you complete units of competency or even a full qualification at Central. These programs can then provide pathways to further qualifications at Central and/or
pathways to university.

Cost
There are no tuition fees for any of the VET in Schools Programs. However you may be required to buy textbooks and other resources.
Other options
In addition to the VET in Schools programs, Central offers a number of different opportunities to access Vocational Education and Training, including:
- part time studies: you may be able to enrol in one of Central's extensive range of courses and remain at school to complete your school program/WACE (Contact Les Quarman on 9427 1612 for information)
- School-based traineeships (SBT)
