About the course

Classes primarily emphasise speaking and listening skills and focus on the development of practical competence in a variety of everyday situations. You are given every opportunity to develop your confidence and skills by participating in pair and group activities.
Your lecturer will be a native speaker of the language.
On completion of this course, you can expect to be able to communicate in French on a basic level in some everyday situations.

Where this course can lead you
Central's language short courses are ideal for those who are going overseas and wish to learn another language. You can communicate to locals and find employment in non-English speaking jobs. Our language courses also provide you with the opportunity for further study in one of our Applied Language Certificates.
